(PR Omérine) (9 septembre)
né vers 600 à Orval, dans la Manche, moine au monastère colombaniste de Luxeuil, fut nommé évêque de Thérouanne par le roi Dagobert, évangélisa le pays, avec l'aide saint Bertin. Fondateur du monastère de Sithiu, sur l'Aa, noyau de la ville de Saint Omer. Mort aveugle à Waurant en 670, inhumé à Sithiu Saint-Bertin. Nom issu du germain "odo" (richesse), et "mar" (célèbre), ou du latin "audomarus". Fête le 9 septembre.
