• Vital, citoyen de Milan, venu à Ravenne avec son épouse sainte Valérie, père de saint Protais et saint Gervais, martyr sous Néron en 62, étouffé sous un tas de pierres au fond d'un puits. Patron de Ravenne. Fête le 28 avril.
• Vital, compagnon de saint Pothin et sainte Blandine, martyr à Lyon en 177. Fête le 2 juin.
• Vital, voir saint Agricola. Fête le 4 novembre, avec Agricola.
• Vital de Savigny, né près de Bayeux, chanoine de Mortain, solitaire à Savigny, mort en 1119. Béatifié.
