issue d'une riche famille romaine. Veuve, elle devint disciple de saint Jérôme et de sainte Marcelle, et se retira près d'Ostie pour mener une vie de recluse, et mourut en 384. Nom issu du latin "lea" (lionne) ou de l'hébreu "le ah" (tête de vache), portée par la soeur de Rachel. Fête le 22 mars.
